Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending an entire day hanging out with my friends, fans, and dance colleagues at the Fabulous Fall Festival at the Hillview Community Center in Los Altos, CA, hosted by the club, BABDAMA<\/a>.\u00a0 My co-authors Alisha Westerfeld<\/a> and Sara Shrapnell<\/a> shared a booth with me and we were fortunate to have a lovely view of the stage.\u00a0 \u00a0When I arrived, my primary mission was to talk to my friends in dance and tell them all about the upcoming projects I’ve lined up for 2018.<\/p>\n

My\u00a0secondary mission was to give cover-girl Basinah<\/a> a rare printed copy of Amabella Magazine, Volume 0 which came out over the summer.\u00a0 Her interview and photo-spread give you a peek inside the world of this lovely San Francisco based professional belly dancer.\u00a0 I caught up with her dressed and ready to perform to live music by one of our\u00a0top regional bands, Pangia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

From my vantage point behind my table, I was able to catch a few minutes of her performance with Pangia, and I’ve put it on YouTube in case you would like to catch her supple, graceful dance style.<\/p>\n
