From Morroco to India, Turkey to Ethiopia, there are regional specialty cookbooks that cover the food of specific countries. Recently, there have been a flood of excellent books that survey the regions surrounding the Mediterranean that include recipes for dishes from around Egypt to Spain. Many of these cookbooks I have used and enjoyed. Some are books I have poured over in bookstores but haven't had an opportunity to buy them or try them out. |
