Image is everything, and your costumes are not just a tool
and a part of your performance, but represents a major component
of your professional image. Every dancer, from the novice beginner,

needs to find the best costumes to suit their own unique needs.
With this goal in mind, I will be using this eNewsletter as a
forum for providing tips, tricks and ideas for designers, costume
makers and dancers. If you have specific questions, comments
or critiques do not hesitate to drop me a line at davina@davina.org.

India-esque
Stylings:
Elaborately embroidered choli with shisha mirror
work, applique and braid. The belt is less elaborate, with shi-sha
embroidery in a geometeric pattern with an edge of coins and
chainette fringe. The skirt is made from a lovely sari fabric
with an elaborate boarder pattern. A fittend choli is an excellent
alternative for dancer with large bust who wants more support
and coverage than a traditional bra can provide.
